
Trekking or hiking is an adventure activity that is generally considered less risky than mountaineering. The Himalayas in India have a rich history of trekking, with explorers trekking through high passes, glaciers, high altitude villages, researching flora and fauna, and more. Over the past decade, trekking has become a popular adventure activity and is now considered a leisurely pursuit.
