Tengboche Trek starts with a flight to Tenzing-Hillary Lukla airstrip. You can enjoy the spectacular panorama of the Himalayan giants during this adventorous flight. After reaching the heart of Khumbu “Namche Bazar”, our way continues further up through the beautiful rhododendron forest to Mong village. Mong Village stands on the top of the ridge. The majestic Ama Dablam and Thamserku peak lies in this region.
During the Tengboche trek, we stop next at Phortse village. This famous Sherpa village generates climbing Sherpas for the expeditions to Mt Everest. After that we reach to Tengboche Monastery. From the monastery, you can see a stunning panorama of some Himalayan giants like Everest, Cho Oyu, Lhotse, Ama Dablam and much more. We leave Tengboche by a steep but gentle descent before crossing the Imja river and ascend to Khangjoma Village. It is our last stop. Khumjung Village with its yak herds and Himalayan flora brings the mixture of the medieval way of living and modernity. You must visit the Hillary health post and the Khumjung school.
