Himalayan Skyline trek also called The Royal Trek.This Trek is named after his name because Prince Charles and his 90 person entourage had explored this route in 1980. It is one of the short trek follows a shrub like path along the foothills of Annapurna, north of the Pokhara valley.This Trek provides the opportunities for meaningful cultural experiences with the diverse mix of peoples and cultures that inhabit this region. The journey of Royal trek begins from Vijaya pur Khola near the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara passes through beautiful Brahmins, Chhetries and Gurung hamlets. During the trek, you are able to enjoy stunning views of the eloquently built hillside rice terraces, and the magnificent Annapurna range, Machapuchhre [fishtail] and the Lamjung Mountain views. The trip finally ends at the scenic Sundare Danda (Hill ) Begnas Lake which is about 30 km west of Pokhara City.
Himalayan Skyline Trekking trip is basically recommended for beginners who are restricted by time to trek longer. This trek presents a true picture of uniqueness and allowing us the chance to capture the traditional lifestyles of the tribes whose ancient religious practices and traditions have remained unchanged for thousands of years. Compared to other trekking areas in Annapurna region, Royal trekking route is less crowded, so you can get more close to nature, culture and lifestyle

Fly or drive to Pokhara, by land 7 hr. and by air 30 minute, transfer to trailhead, after trek drive back to Pokhara.
Average 5-6 hr. walk per day, easy trail max. Altitude 1980 m. remote village and jungle route.
Mid of Sept. to May, Rhododendron blooms in the spring.
Camping , Tea House Lodge, or Home stay.
Day- 01: Drive from pokhara to trailhead Bijaypur – Kalikastan (1370m)
Day- 02: Kalikastan (1370m) – Shaklung (1730m)
Day- 03: Shaklung (1730m)-Chisopani
Day- 04: Chisopani – Begnas Lake.
Day- 05: Begnas Lake- Pokhara ( About 30 km. Drive ).
